Storytime will last about 30 minutes or more. Please make plans to attend.

LIBRARY CARDS
Library Cards are available to anyone
desiring to become a patron of the Edwards Public Library. An application must be filled
out in order to receive a card. If the applicant is under 18 years of age, a parent or
guardian must also sign the application. The first library card is free of charge. There
will be a $1.00 charge for the replacement of a lost or damaged card.

CHECK OUT POLICIES
Books, Audio Books, and Records are checked
out for a period of fourteen days and can be renewed as needed. Best sellers and books
with heavy demand can be renewed only once. The fine for late books is ten cents a day per
book.
Videos are checked our for a period of two days and can be renewed no more than
twice. Current and new videos can be renewed only once. The fine for late videos is $1.00
a day per video.
CD's are checked out for a period of seven days and can be renewed as needed. Newer
CD's can be renewed only once. The fine for late CD's is $1.00 a day per CD.
Magazines are checked our for a period of seven days and can be renewed as needed.
The current magazine cannot be checked out, but all others can. The fine for late
magazines is ten cents a day per magazine

COMPUTERS AND THE INTERNET
Computer and Internet can be used by any patron who has signed a Computer and Internet Agreement free of charge. User must sign up to use the computer at the front desk at a first come first serve basis. There is a ten cent a page for computer printouts. No outside software is to be used on library computer. Blank Disks are available at a charge $1.00 for new disks, and .50 per used disks.
